British Land has secured a string of additional tenants for its 10 Portman Square development in the West End of London – meaning over 40% of the available office space is now pre-let.
Due to be completed in April 2013, the latest tenants securing office space at the 113,000 sq. ft. development are oil firm Aramco Overseas Company and investment manager Aspect Capital, who have taken office space totalling 48,912 sq. ft.
In securing these tenants, 10 Portman Square has 43% of its office space capacity pre-let in advance of its expected completion in early 2013.
Commenting on the latest letting British Land’s James Danby stated:
“We are delighted that Aramco Overseas Company and Aspect Capital have chosen 10 Portman Square as their new London home, and we look forward to welcoming them to the building next Spring.”
According to online reports, the average rent secured by the Saudi Arabian oil firm is £90.76 per square foot with the lease spanning over a 15 year period.
