A few hints and tips on getting a decent start to your working week.

Sometimes its hard to get back into work mode after the weekend and as a result your productivity levels can drop sharply during Monday morning. However, it doesn’t always have to be such a struggle at the start of the week. Here are a few things you can try to better improve your productivity and work ethic this Monday in the office.

Firstly make sure that anything that needs to be completed by the end of the week is actually done by Friday, don’t leave projects to be finished on Monday morning as the chances are the results won’t be great.

Make a detailed schedule of what you want to get done each day of the week. Try to set yourself some work that is relatively simple that will allow you to ease back into the working week.

Drink lots of water as staying hydrated will ensure that you feel alert and energised throughout the morning. Letting yourself become dehydrated will affect the way you feel and will cause a general lack of concentration.

Get a good nights sleep on Sunday. Make sure that you get at least 7 to 9 hours sleep the night before you start back at work. In the morning eat a healthy balanced breakfast to ensure that you stay focused through until lunch.
