Designer Office Space Competition – Create your Own Luxury Work Setting

Designer office space Liverpool Street London

At LondonOffices, we’ve got a good idea of what makes an office work in the country’s capital with plenty of designer office space available on our portfolio. We know that every organisation has different needs, and that no two companies are the same.

Over the years, we’ve seen many different offices with many different designs. We know that the ultimate space is different for everyone – some are all about location, some want modern, spacious and open plan. Some want a vintage designs or bold colour schemes, and there’s always going to be variations between industries; an investment firm may not share the same design objectives as a marketing company for example. But one thing remains consistent across every kind of organisation; when it comes down to it everybody’s own idea of a designer office space is one which maximises the creativity and productivity of their employees.

So we want to know – what’s your idea of the perfect designer office space? We’re appealing to aspiring interior designers and bloggers in the UK to take charge and show us their dream office. Simply put together a blogpost describing your design and send it to for your chance to win up to £300 to spend at

We want you to be as creative as possible – the idea being that if you were to design an office in the capital, what features would you want to see in it? Feel free to pull ideas from creative interior sites, and link out to products and brands which inspire you, perhaps making picture-boards illustrating what your designer office space would look like.

If you’ve got a colour scheme, we want to see it. If the office is open plan, we want to know why. We want to see which sofas align the walls, what the coffee area would look like, whether there’s a central spiral staircase or floor to ceiling windows. Will your office have a retro feel or ultra-modern? Will you take inspiration from the art-deco designs of famous offices like the Empire State Building, or go quirky and creative, like the Google Offices in California? You’re the designer and here and you’re in control.

Of course, every industry is different, and we want you to create a designer office space which works best for your organisation. So to get you started, why not try and design the perfect space for one of the following companies:

The Law Firm – think Canary Wharf, skyscrapers, modern designs with glass and chrome, spacious meeting rooms for suited clients with oak furniture and sprawling bookcases.

The Creative Agency – think youth and energy, the company’s slogan’s slanted in bright colours on the walls, meeting rooms complete with iPads and beanbags, no dress code for employees, and a football table in the canteen.

The Fashion Magazine – think Vogue, think photography and art on the walls, vintage white desks and lots of space, rails of designer outfits and a coffee shop in the corner.

Of course, if none of those appeal, feel free to tackle your own industry’s office – media, property, insurance, finance, retail? If you’ve worked in an office, what didn’t you like about the design, what would you have changed to make it a designer office space?

Send in your blog post entries by the 14th of September for your chance to win a 1st prize of £300 to spend at We’ll be picking the best post, the most creative design, and we’ll also be giving two runners up £50 in Made vouchers too. So get designing and get us those entries!

We’re looking forward to seeing your fantastic designer office space!
