YouTube is displaying the colours of its ownership as its London offices are decked out in true Google style.
The floor of office space at the Central St Giles Googleplex, designed by Penson, is made to look in part like open studio areas and in others like an underground submarine.
Among those quirkier areas is the breakout space that replicates Del Boy’s flat from ‘Only Fools and Horses’. The building also features a glitter reception, flight pods for meeting space and a large ‘creator space’ for filmmakers.
“They can come in use the studio – and the idea is – make even better YouTube films,” says Penson Interior Designer, Lucy Goddard.
Google commissioned Penson to redesign the building in May 2012.
