Office Space in Angel
The addition of many retail and commercial buildings in to the Angel area has made it a more desirable location for office space within recent years and it is developing as a popular business district. Buildings within the locality are typical of those usually seen within a town and many serviced offices have been developed from ex-town houses or industrial sites.
Due to this redevelopment the works paces are very unique combining both original features of the building and modern aspects from the refurbishment. The offices’ interiors also differ greatly from one another, some of which are very on trend and cool whilst others are more simple and sleek. The area has a great atmosphere due to the ideal mix of locals and businesses in the region and the area’s serviced office space reflects the vibrant surroundings.

Angel Background and History
Going back to the ever popular Upper Street, it is also home to The Screen on the Green, one of the sweetest and most impressive cinemas in the whole city. During the evening the place is lit up in fantastic displays of red and white and during the day it is an attractive boarder to the street’s pretty green. Opening way back in 1910 it is one of the oldest and coolest cinemas in the country.
Another bit of history which is rooted in the Angel is the Islington Metal Works. The original purpose of this building was to stable the horses that pulled the trams through London before being converted to a metal works in 1925, which in part is still a functioning business today. Other portions of the building, loved for the history and the quirky setting are used at present as a popular venue for weddings, club nights, gigs, exhibitions, fashion shows, and corporate parties.
Once a run down and poorer area, familiar with large farmland, the fields between Upper Street and Liverpool Road were home to one of the biggest farms in London and were a source of food and shelter for the passing herds. Due to the amount of farm traffic which passed through the area there grew a need for public houses as rest points throughout the expanse for the men, hence the reason there are so many places to dine and drink in Angel still today.
The industry and shortly after, the residencies which appeared in Angel, which eventually grew in to the area we know and love today, began from the area’s success in produce; the locality supplied London with its source of butter, cream and milk. Eventually as work in the area grew brick terraces began to overtake agriculture and farmers turned to manufacturing and property development.
