PwC create energy for London office with cookin oil

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has signed a new deal to power its London headquarters with over 45,000 litres of cooking oil.

The oil will be sourced from restaurants and businesses across the area. It will then be collected by Arrow Oil and sent to a local refinery. PwC has installed a cutting edge tri-generation facility on their London office. (more…)

Premier Property Group submits planning application for EC4 office development

In a nod to the ever strengthening London office market, Premier Property Group have submitted a planning application for a new office development in EC4.

The developer plans to turn PricewaterhouseCooper’s current HQ at Plumtree Court, EC4 into 412,000 sq ft of new office space. Premier Property Group was originally granted permission to refurbish the building in 2008 but the firm now believe a new build would be a better solution. It’s thought PwC will move staff to its current premises at Embankment Place WC2 and 7 More London SE1 once it completes its lease at Plumtree Court in December 2011. (more…)

PWC office building wins BREEAM ‘outstanding’ award

The office building of PricewaterhouseCoopers at More London has won the first ‘outstanding’ BREEAM rating in the UK.

BREEAM is the standard for sustainable design and environmental performance. The ratings look at many different criteria and offer an award based on the results. ‘Outstanding’ is the top rating, meaning the site has to meet or exceed 85% across all targets. (more…)

London becomes most popular city to invest in for commercial property

The report from PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Urban Land Institute shows the highest increase in new acquisitions in the commercial market in the city in comparison to other European cities. (more…)
