Research agency relocates office to Central London

Incite, a UK research agency, has relocated its offices from Covent Garden to a larger premises in High Holborn, Central London.

The firm had previously stayed in their base for approximately 10 years when it was founded in 2000 by directors Elaine Kent-Smith and Sid Simmons.

Incite recently hired three new executives, Alex Webb, Justyna Gestwa and Mark Yeomans, to join their 28-strong team, also turning over £7.4m this year, almost £2m above £5.65m in 2008/09.

2015 marks a turning point for London office space

From 2014 to 2016 many lease agreements will expire leading to some tenants relocating, which may create some economic instability.

This 3 year window of turmoil is due to the fact that there was a significant boom of 25 year and 15 year leases in the 1980’s and 1990’s.  As a result 2014, 2015 and 2016  marks the end of many of these leases.

Therefore it is crucial to secure tenants for this period, otherwise properties will become vacant and landlords may become financially unstable.

Leeds have expressed an interest in Whitehall jobs

Leeds has announced plans to pursue London office jobs, after the government reveal plans to relocate offices to other areas.

The plans come as the government announced a dramatic office upheaval with 15,000 London office jobs to be relocated to other areas.

However, as earlier reported, there is competition for the government office jobs as other areas, such as Bradford and Newport, have also been reacting to the relocation plans of the government.

Newport set to compete with Bristol for London office jobs

Bradford and Newport are competing for London office jobs as the government relocates offices to other areas.

As reported on Wednesday, the government is in the process of announcing a dramatic office upheaval with 15,000 London office jobs to be relocated to other areas.

The initial article discussed Bradford’s bid to secure the London jobs but now Newport, in South Wales, has announced an interest in the relocation.

London office space becomes vacant as the Government relocate to Bradford

The government is in the process of announcing a dramatic office upheaval with 15,000 London office jobs to be relocated to other areas.

Bradford is currently being considered as a potential area for relocation of the London government workforce.

Regeneration officers in Bradford have said that offering office space for relocation could be mutually beneficial to Bradford and the government.

Not only is office space in Bradford “great value for money” but it is hoped that the relocation will boost the local economy.
