Real estate advisor CB Richard Ellis appoints new executive director to London team

Leading commercial real estate advisor CB Richard Ellis has appointed a new Executive Director to its team.

The appointment of Philip Howells, formerly employed by Jones Lang LaSalle, follows the recruitment of two other members to the Central London team – Robert Sylvester and Mike Edwards.Head of CB Richard Ellis in London Adam Hetherington said: “I am very pleased that Phillip has decided to join CBRE. His reputation as one of the leading leasing and development agents in the West End precedes him and I believe that his experience and know-how will further add to our market leading West End team.”

Howells said: “I have been thinking about the move for some time and decided that now was the right time in the market cycle to be joining the dynamic team they already have in place”.

The London firm provides market analysis, forecasting and strategy advice about office space and development.

Every month the company publishes the CB Richard Ellis Monthly Index based on the valuations of £8 billion of property. The Prime Rent and Yield Monitor is also published quarterly. Both publications act as barometers of the commercial real estate market.
