Businesses are prepared to pay a premium to secure serviced office space in Central London according to new data – as prices across the capital continue to rise.
Released by online search platform officebroker.com, the cost of securing a single serviced office workstation in Central London has reached an average of £583 per month in 2012 – representing a £49 per month increase on the average of £534 per month logged in the equivalent 5 month period of 2011.
While the price being paid for serviced offices has risen across Central London, the data also shows that costs remain below the previous “peak” recorded in 2008 – when those operating business centres could expect to charge an average of £647 per month.
But having fallen as low as £455 per month in 2009, the current rental value represents a 26% improvement on this low point. It is though that values have increased due to a strong and continued demand from businesses seeking flexible workspace.
