Victoria’s ‘The Peak’ Secures New Tenants for Offices to Lease in London
Two new tenants have signed up for space in ‘The Peak’ offices to lease in London Victoria, SW1.
The lettings by Reed Executive and David Sainsbury’s Gatsby Foundation mean the development is now 80% occupied.
AXA Real Estate Investment Managers, The Co-Operative and Heron International are celebrating after securing two tenants for their offices to lease in London Victoria.
Recruitment firm Reed Executive and David Sainsbury’s charity The Gatsby Foundation have both agreed to lease space in The Peak. The lettings mean the companies will join existing tenants such as G4S and Wates in the property which is now about 80% occupied.
According to reports Reed Executive will lease 8,817 sq ft on the ground floor, while The Gatsby Foundation will lease more than 10,000 sq ft on the third floor of the offices to lease in London. Both firms are expected to relocate later this year, with many believing The Gatsby Foundation will relocate as early as spring.
Following the lettings, The Peak is more than three quarters occupied with around 22,000 sq ft of office available to rent for around £65 per sq ft.
Commenting on the transactions, Managing Director at Heron International Peter Ferrari said: “We are very pleased to welcome two further high class occupiers to The Peak, further endorsing this building’s quality of design and finish, as well as its prime location directly opposite Victoria Station, one of London’s most important commuter hubs. The building is now around 80% let, with just two remaining floors, both of which are seeing strong interest.“
Altogether The Peak offers just under 80,000 sq ft of offices to lease in London and 19,200 sq ft of retail space in the heart of SW1. The development was designed by architects Sheppard Robson and has won a string of awards since it opened in 2009 including being named as the ‘West End Development of The Year‘ at the latest office awards.
