If the rumours are to be believed, Apple could well be snapping up office space in a thriving city centre to establish a UK campus… but in Manchester, not London.
DTZ has confirmed that a deal dubbed ‘Project Digital’ is due to take place shortly in Manchester, but the identity of the office-seeker has been kept extremely secret. It has been confirmed that it is a ‘digital US corporation’ with a ‘global reach’.
Just as Silicon Valley dominates in the US, London’s own Silicon Roundabout area in Shoreditch is fast becoming the heart and soul of start-up digital innovation.
But in America, a second home has sprung up in San Francisco, where some tech giants and innovative organisations have decided to opt-out of the Silicon Valley universe and set up in the trendy suburbs.

Whoever is moving in, the move is being called ‘significant’ by those in the know. For those of us not in the know, all we can do is wait.
