Staines office space to be developed by Invista.
Brand new office space in London area to be created by Invista.
New office space in Staines will be developed by real estate company Invista. Work will begin as soon as there are enough tenants to secure a decent level of lease contracts.
The development will see the former Gas Board work site transformed into 111,500 square feet of office space.
The building is being designed by London based architects Tate Hindle. Initially the plans consisted of both office space and a hotel, however the hotel plans have been dropped in favour of producing more office space.
Invista have said that this is the first stage in a three phase plan, which includes developing a further two buildings to create around 100,000 square feet of office space.
“While the economic climate is still challenging, our decision to bring renewed Staines Central back to the market and pro-actively promote the development to businesses is a demonstration of our confidence in the new design, and appetite for quality office space in Staines,” commented Nick Howitt of Invista Real Estate.
Discussions have begun with potential clients for the new office space and the building is being marketed by property agents Jones Lang La Salle and Savills.
Invista Real Estate is currently the largest UK listed real estate fund management group. The company manage residential and commercial real estate all over the UK and have properties in Europe and Asia. The group has an overall amount of £5.4 billion in assets under management.
