Recruitment consultancy firm reed.co.uk has moved to a new Covent Garden office. The headquarters will house most of the companies existing employees but the regional sales department will remain in the Midlands and North of England.
Managing Director Martin Warnes said: “This week marks the next step in the evolution of the reed.co.uk business. We’ve moved into an outstanding new office space, where we’ll continue to grow, develop and innovate, further establishing reed.co.uk as the UK’s number one job site”.
He continued: “Our people and our products are key to giving our clients the most effective service and our new head office will enable us to staff up in the areas we need. Only by hiring the best new talent will we be able to achieve our ambitious targets for growth”.
The recruitment firm places clients into temporary and permanent employment across areas such as accounting, education, health care and administrative work.
The company website was launched in 1995 and is the largest online job portal in the UK.
About 4,000 staff are employed by Reed across their 400 global offices. Warne said: “We’ve given our employees a working environment to be proud of, where we can continue to foster the energetic and productive culture which has seen our business thrive over the last two years”.
