Following the news last month that BE Offices are to launch their all-in-one service, BESpoke, the company are again making waves in the serviced office industry. Most recently, BE Offices announced their acquisition of Headspace Group, the co-working specialists, adding to their ever-growing portfolio.
Headspace Group as a Brand
Headspace group are developers of inspiring, creative and flexible workspaces popular with tech, media and creative companies. With the speed and vigour in which this sector of the serviced office industry is developing, BE Offices are keen to offer this type of requirement. Previously, this office provider operated within the corporate sector of the market but they are eager to branch out, covering a broader spectrum of businesses and their office space needs.
The hugely successful Headspace Group currently own three spaces in Marylebone, Farringdon and Manchester and are functioning at near 100% capacity. The centre’s decor takes inspiration from the building’s surroundings. Keeping interiors in tune with the much loved culture and atmosphere of the nearby area is highly inspirational and attractive to a range of local businesses. Headspace Group prides themselves on the community focus within their centres and understands the importance of networking and collaboration amongst businesses.
BE Offices plan to retain the essence of Headspace Group and continue with its successful business plan however, expanding the business substantially and rapidly. Within the next three years, BE Offices hopes to have 20 Headspace centres across the UK.
David Saul, Managing Director and co-founder of BE, said: “Headspace is a fantastic brand that has established itself in the highly creative sector of the flexible workspace market. Each centre has its own slightly quirky and funky design that has tremendous appeal to the creative industries that we will continue to target.
“We believe that with our financial resource and well-established management team we can really develop the Headspace brand and fully realise its potential.
“Importantly I believe that it will enable BE to grow dramatically over the next three to five years as our highly focused divisions take full advantage of the rapidly growing interest in the flexible space and serviced office market across all sectors.”
Building Headspace Group
Founder of Headspace Group Jonny Rosenblatt is planning to move on from the company to begin a new venture. He is confident that BE Offices are the best in the business to continue the Headspace brand believing that their values align with that of his former company which has always aimed to shun co-working clichés.
Rosenblatt says, “This is a hugely positive move for Headspace and our members and I’m in no doubt that the team at BE Offices will build on the success that we’ve enjoyed to date.”
BE Offices currently has 16 business centres in total, mainly within Central London. The company, realising that business success involves adapting and evolving with the times, are expanding to gain expertise in a range of market sectors. There is plentiful competition within the market but BE are one of the few providers capable of offering both flexible and co-working in a one stop, all-inclusive service.
