With the announcement that office provider Citibase has acquired a new business centre within a landmark building overlooking Hyde Park, Londonoffices thought this would be the perfect time for us to introduce not only the new offices but also the winter events happening around London this year.
Winter Wonderland and the Knightsbridge Office
The new business centre at 27 Knightsbridge provides professional, naturally lit office space that present stunning views over the treetops of Hyde Park. During the winter months, this space comes alive with Christmas charm. The annual Winter Wonderland attraction takes over this 350-acre royal park, transforming it into a festive extravaganza.
Coming from humble beginnings, the Winter Wonderland event started as an open-air Christmas market. Growing year on year, the experience now features ice skating, shows, roller coaster rides, street food stalls, festive bars and live music, making this the ideal place to head for after work drinks or even to host a low-key office Christmas party.
Embracing the spirit of Knightsbridge, the new Citibase business centre is open and inviting. The welcoming reception features a stunning full height atrium that floods the space with natural light and a fresh feel. The simple décor is uncluttered and chic allowing businesses the freedom to make their offices their own, or to just let the beautiful building speak for itself.
Being close to the magic that ignites within Hyde Park throughout the winter months has numerous benefits for Citibase members. Open from 10am-10pm daily, there is a variety of delicious food on offer; a hot mulled wine is also always close by for a Friday treat. For the last minute Christmas shopper, twinkling market stalls present a unique festive shopping experience right up to Christmas Eve.
The Skylight @ Tabacco Dock
Another unique, wintry attraction arriving in London this year is Skylight at Tobacco Dock. This distinctive office space now has even more appeal with an ice rink on its roof, a first for London. This captivating Grade I listed waterside complex provides a unique and extremely stylish space to work. Offices feature a contemporary and stripped back vibe that includes exposed brick work and edgy black window frames.
Originally designed as a car park, the roof can comfortably accommodate the immense weight of the ice and its revellers. Guests are able to skate around the star-lit rooftop or try their hand at ice hockey shooting, all complete with mesmerising views of the City skyline. The neon-lit winter-haven also offers a selection of street foods and a delicious, traditional fondue station. A variety of drinks and cocktails are also available within the Dock’s heated Après setting or bar, featuring cutting-edge DJs.
Winter Events @ The Shard
London’s tallest office building is also no exception from the festivities. The Shard, home to quality office space, three excellent restaurants, a five* hotel and residential apartments, will be lit up throughout the Christmas period. The top 20 floors will display a different coloured light show each day; a variety of gradients, patterns and sparkles will light up the night sky.
The Office Group, based on the 24th and 25th floors of the skyscraper bring stylish, relaxed workspace with a contemporary coffee shop vibe to this spectacular building. The setting incorporates fashionable armchairs and quirky sofas alongside traditional desk space for a memorable office within an iconic building.
Winter Wonderland opens on Friday 17th November at 5pm and remains open, with usual opening hours, until 1st January 2018. Skylight is open until mid-January while Citibase is open for viewings now! Call one of our consultants on +44 (0) 207 166 7981 and arrange an appointment that suits you.
